All containers and lids are made of recyclable polypropylene (PP), except for the 24180 container which is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and the 20180 lid which is made of low density polyethylene (LDPE). All polymers are fully recyclable.

Some chemicals can affect the integrity of the container. Any product requiring a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) has to be submitted and approved by IPL. If the buyer fail to adhere to this clause the related product guarantees will be void.

Raw materials used are tested according to ASTM standards for polymers, approved for food contact and meet FDA (Food and Drug Administration USA) and HPB (Health Protection Branch Canada) regulations.

  • No double pallet stacking, shelving for storing empty containers and lids.
  • Insert a cardboard between each layer of filled container while packaging to prevent lid breakage during transport.
  • Product usage between 32℉ (0℃) and 180℉ (82℃). Handling conditions vary from customer to customer; therefore, we recommend to validate your processes (filling, conveying, warehousing, etc.) with specific product testing
  • For optimal stacking stability:
    - staggering box pattern;
    - using double-faced pallets with boards close together top and bottom;
    - releasing the air from container when putting on the lid.
  • To open: Break the tamper evident tab, then remove lid.
  • To close: Align and snap lid starting at break tab, then press all around while releasing air by pressing the center of the lid to burp container. If using an automated closing device, use proper lid air removing system.
