Skin Packaging

Skin Packaging is a transparent form of packaging used for consumer and industrial goods. The process involves using a flexible sheet of transparent plastic and a treated paper board. The plastic is softened by heat and drawn around the product by vacuum and sealed to the paperboard.

Are Skin Packaging and Blister Packaging Different?

Yes. Though they are created through similar processes, skin packaging is typically used when you are looking for a sleeker package that uses less material. The backer on skin packaging is usually less rigid than that of a blister pack.
